YAY WEDNESDAY!!!!!!
the past 2 days have been light kid days! Monday meant I got some extra laundry & cleaning done while they played or napped. Tuesday meant I was able to work on editing all crop forms over from the spring PTCO crop to the fall Scrap Pink crop! & to be sure that no one is wondering what I did w/the kids during all of this time, they did eat their regularly scheduled meals & snacks, played w/play dough, danced to 3 music cds, & did yoga! :) today I will have about 8 kids & a helper so hopefully the weather will stay dry so we can WALK!!! PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAASE let it stay dry for this morning at least!! tomorrow we are hoping to visit the county fair grounds & then field trip Friday is to the animal shelter! our summer is definitely busy!
Yesterday I went the farmer's market & spent the most I have spent this year. I spent $17. I got a pound of roma tomatoes & 3 big ones, a green pepper, a dozen ears of peaches & cream, a splurge of a plate of snickerdoodle cookies & 2 really long skinny burp less cucumbers. it sure didn't feel like much but those tomatoes really add up :)
the running & eating right combined to the water consistency intake has been good to me!! I am finally seeing a drop on weigh in day (usually my drop is over the weekend then Monday morning I gain it all back & it stays thru the week). I am giddy that I am down 10 since April 1!! tonight is running night & I actually look fwd to it!
WOW it took a while to get this weekend figured out!! our normal lake is 1 foot under emergency flood level so we checked into a different lake, going online we finally figured out that they only had one reservable campsite left near a boat ramp. SOOOO after a semi-conference call(I called Lauren who was in the same room as Hupp who was on the phone w/Nick) & decided to go back to ole reliable & if we can boat -great- & if not we will find other ways to amuse ourselves :) trails, playgrounds, water park, water play on closed boat ramps, shopping, sounds pretty relaxing to me!!! Now we just need to get thru the week!!! OH & find some dry firewood to take LOL
back in the scrap room last night! WOW that felt good!! I even thought about finishing the project from April that's been laying unfinished. but I was too busy settling the weekend plans to focus. Maybe tonight after running, supper, & loading wood.

Hump Day!
means we are over the hump on our way to the weekend!! :) yahooooooooooo
Had a good educational training last night!! SIDS, PURPLE crying, & Shaken baby Syndrome. all things we can't learn enough about!! then ended the night w/GREAT give aways :) that always makes for a good training.

today was weigh in day @ the 'hood & I have to say I stayed the same or gained one. I have yo-yo'd alot the past week & don't remember exactly what last week's weigh in weight was. With last week's eating issues, I was down to a new set of numbers I haven't seen in MONTHS then w/in a couple of days I was back up to where I am now. but it totally inspired me to get my hiney moving & get back down there for REALS!!!
Today is a busy day for our child care!! briefly its like this: breakfast x2, Shrek @ the local theater, back for lunch, lay down for a movie/quiet time, send bigs w/helper to library on trolley for craft time, snack when they get back + littles get up & then starts the end of the day. *whew* going to need a work out tonight!!!

YAY!!
I can post today!! Thanks blogger!! it wasn't letting me get this far yesterday :S so much in my head today going to attempt to organize it w/a list:
- Seriously pumped about our childcare Friday events this summer!!! something every Friday June 18-August 6!!!! ROCK ON!!! movie, fire station, farmer's market, animal shelter, vet clinic, train depot, conservation board, nurse consultant, even another provider's home for 4th of July craft!! GET OUT!!
- Today is the first official day of Summer Vacation! Whohoooooooo it started w/a pretty big thunderstorm & an inch of rain! LOL welcome to Iowa twenty-ten.
- I have childcare 'baby training' & dinner tonight, food training in Creston on the 22nd, need to go thru my QRS paperwork & see what needs done to turn in by 7/1
- helpers start tomorrow
- My body teased me w/a weigh in on Sunday that made me squeal. of course I gained it back in the past couple of days but hope to work it back off this week!
- I did 42 wii fit minutes + 2 new 10 minute target workouts on Sunday.. LOVE them!!!
- Have to miss the Farmer's Market tonight :(
- living on water & string cheese last week helped the scale look good
- but it threw my body into starvation mode & it stored what i ate on Sunday & I gained 3# back
- at least that is my interpretation of the scale roller coaster I am on
- I am still under my #5 button :)
- seeing that new number on the scale lit a fire I haven't had for a long time!
- it was 1# shy of a 10# button!!
- I was even too tired to eat all of my supper last night
- then totally sabotaged everything by napping on the couch after supper for 2 hrs!
- boo!
- today its raining cats & dogs already
- so there will be no outside time *sigh*
- yoga for kids & maybe a 10 minute session or 2
- depending on how cooperative the kids are...
- it is their first day of summer vacay after all!!

Happy Hump Day!
(even tho it doesn't feel like it should be already YAY!!!)
WOW last night was a crazy weather night for southern Iowa! storms, wind, rain, tornados oh my! luckily our area just had the first 3 :) I slept like a rock all night long YAY! still tired today but fighting it w/some caffeine. @ this point..whatever works!
OH & its Weigh in Wednesday @ the 'hood & I remembered to hop on the scale first thing & I dropped that weekend pound PLUS another!! whohoooooooooo NOW to get this mouth healed up so I can get back on track w/eating right & getting my water (too many potato chips tore up the roof of my mouth this weekend making anything & everything painful)

hmmm still getting used to the new blogspot set up & tried to upload photos yday but only one took of the 6 or 8 I thought I had going. hmmmm will try again. welllllllll looks like I am slowly getting it figured out!! YAY!

I did however get the kids out for our mile walk in the morning as well as made guacamole for supper so I got both challenges for the fb group! (exercise + fresh f/v daily)

Time to get serious!
ok so maybe its past time but better late than never I suppose :) as many of you know I attempt to shrink w/the sisterhood. however, this winter I have grown instead of shrunk :( I put on 24# in the past year! GET OUT!! I have said for a few (5) years that I don't need to lose, just maintain & get healthy. well if getting healthy is THIS I take it all back!! b/c now I need to lose!
I am doing something I have never ever done b4, I posted my weight over @ the 'hood. EEK that scares the crap outa me!!! I won't be putting it here b/c that's just too much. hoping that putting it up over there will keep me that much more accountable for doing something to shrink.
There is a new challenge @ the Sisterhood. Shrinking days of Summer!! just like last year & I did great last year. I think. of course I wasn't happy w/what I weighed then either but that is a whole different post (a pretty deep one that I have actually typed up & ready to go when I am feeling either especially brave or down in the dumps or maybe it might take both) . The Sisterhood ROCKS!!! they have DAILY activities planned for this challenge! whohoooooooo!!! just what I need! something new every day to keep me thinking about what I am doing, eating, walking, etc. & why!
SO far I have tried on 2 pr of shorts from last year & they FIT. *whew* I was terrified they'd not even go on & some won't, but at least they fit. they are TIGHT but atleast they fit! :) some of my shirts may not as I have a full blown muffin top this year. ouch. working on it! wii fit yoga reminded me last night just how much I looooooooooooooooooove yoga & how powerful it can be & I hope to get some in 3x/week! OH speaking of Yoga!! Lauren & I are doing some @ the lake this weekend!!! :) camping + yoga. I bet we can find some quiet out of the way -hopefully out of sight- spot to do some quick morning yoga a couple of the mornings :) YAY!!!!
