AE day 3

WHOHOOOOOOO!!! MORE PHOTOS BUT IT WAS A MUCH MORE EXCITING DAY ;)

Sunday=day 3= fire day. 10-2 we spent @ the old property watching our volunteer fire dept burn our house, garage & shed down to nothing. they were so good to us, helped Tim light it, ushered me around showing me good angles for photo ops, even reopened the front door so I could get a good shot of the inside fire, the neices (Lyla playing in the water running down the road & Katelyn just soaking it all in-so serious), & then some after dark shots.

I can't wait to do today's tomorrow!!!

WHAT A WHIRLWIND WEEKEND!!!

I will share some photos of the burn (probably all of them on a slideshow) when Kodak is done getting them all.

NO SCHOOL today & the kids are dropping like flies ;) Nat is spending the day w/her aunt, Andie & Blake are home w/Andie fighting the flue :( & Brock is hanging out w/a Gma. we will definately be walking by the old house/burn site for the kids to see it IRL instead of just photos I printed for them. hoping to do some halloween/fall decorating & some laundry today too.

WHOHOOOOOOOOOO now if I can shake this headache I'll be better ;)

well, the fire dept made their first practice inthe old house last night.. you should have seen the lollygaggers LOL they did let us know they moved the final burn to the FOLLOWING sunday so I will be able to be there!!! YAY!!

we got a couple more local donations for SP & hung up another flier!! zoom zoom!!! then on that high I put together door prize page kits for an hour using donated paper from a friend + my embellies! I think I did atleast 6.

WEEKEND PLANS:
*Ultimate fight @ the casino Saturday night w/a coworker (+ wife) of Tim's
*ceiling fans + cabinet from old house+park bench+wishing well
*more fliers out
*2 landfill runs
*finish page kits for SP
*DO some page kits for me to work on @ SP
*get people registered :)
*sleep in!

HUMP DAY=YOGA!!

for teh next 10 weeks anyway ROCK ON!!!!!!! WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!

so last night was a bust as far as plans but ROCKED as far as productivity goes!!
we tore apart & drug out the furnace, ductwork & water heater (still 1/2 full of water!) from the old house basement, I moved the gutter pile to the ductwork pile for the scrap yard to pick up (Corey) & started moving a pile of firewood away from the house to save for next summer, on the way home confirmed the CM rep for the SP, came home, showered & read myself to sleep. (almost done) oh yeah & I did wash some dishes.

MIL's dr appt was late so visiting tonight instead. (b4 yoga)

cabinet is sufficiently pink :) now to get it inside.

today I have the same phonecalls to make that I procrastinated yesterday.

tomorrow night will be more scavenging @ the old house I think-2 ceiling fans, plant hook outside, park bench, wishing well, plant cabinet, movie cabinet....ugh...

HAPPY MONDAY...

WELL... ITS A GOOD START TO A GREAT WEEK!! I am an infant short this morning w/the other coming after lunch, & 2 kids short all day while a toddler is coming later this morning also. WHOHOOOOO hoping for some spray paint time in the back yard so I can get my metal cabinet in my scrap room & finish the move!!

weekend in whole:
pretty balanced... Friday night ended up GREAT!! Tim brought home LJS for supper (that we ate all weekend!) & I took a bath for 3.5 hours & read my book!

Saturday we were up earlier than I wanted but I had to get my stuff done so got my eyebrows waxed, then walked around collecting- only got one donation ( a $30 jar of one minute manicure) & hung 3 more fliers & have a list of places to call today. then home to change & hit the old house, helped Tim finish popping the tiles off the kitchen +back porch floors, found the shelf I wanted WASN'T attached so vowed to get it, & called it quits for the day. Grocery shopped, did ods & ends @walmart & home to chill, he watched some TV & I read. then we did 5 geo-caches & came home for leftovers for supper. later Katie, TOmmy & Nat showed up for a while to hang out.

Sunday again up earlier than I had wanted but woke to pancakes+bacon+ clean dishes in teh drainrack! whohooooo GO TIm! so we ate, then emptied the truck bed (fence to the scrap yard, wood @ old house) then backed it up the old front door & FILLED IT again.. linoleum, tile, boxes, then moved into the garage & started flinging from there. SO its loaded & Tarped for next weekend's landfil run. walked home for some scrap moving time :D he built up the scavenged shelf to match the height of the crate I had & we built my desk-its a bit higher than I had planned but NOT arguing LOL its DONE! THEN he fixed the existing shelves on teh wall to quit falling, hung a new one & helped move my roll top into there. lots of swapping around of stuffs, took back the 13" tv & gave him the 19 for the garage b/c I didn't have room for it, moved the weight stuff into the old scrap room, etc. I finally quit working on it last night @bedtime. still more to do of course.
