Granola recipe-Wednesday

Loose granola

4c old fashioned oats
1c chopped almonds/sunflower nuts/walnuts
1/4c brown sugar
1/4tsp salt
1/4tsp ground cinnamon
1/3c olive oil
1/4c honey

preheat oven to 300. may line large rimmed baking sheet w/foil. (I don't)
Mix oats, nuts, sugar, salt & cinnamon into a large bowl. in a sauce pan combine oil & honey. bring to a simmer on stove over medium heat. Remove from heat & stir into the oat mix-stirring well.

Spread mixture onto baking sheet. stirring occassionally , bake for30 minutes. let granola cool COMPLETELY & enjoy. I store this in a tightly sealed glass canister. can be eaten w/milk as cereal or over top of yogurt, ice cream or peanut buttered apples/celery.

Seriously? That is it? Well shoot. I currently get a granola from the store that has raisins in it. So I think I'd add those in as well.
