ahhhhhh another week gone by

anyone else TOTALLY OVER winter yet?? dangit!!!!

this weeeknd I am planning some Sam's club shopping, baby shower + baptism shopping & attending each event, a pee-wee wrestling meet, some sleeping in & some napping :))

ANOTHER snow day WOW!!

our kiddos may as well go year round & take winter off lol (this year now that its over-hindsight ) oh well... so we got rain @7:30AM yesterday then by 1PM it changed to sleet, @2 it changed to snow then back to sleet @4 & then to snow 7ish till after we went to bed@ 10 . SOOOOOOO Tim was almost ready to leave town -having 1 of 2 passengers picked up & the boss calls saying to wait for daylight HA so he's on his way home for 2 hrs, school has been cancelled AGAIN. wow... what a winter.

Monday

well the prssure of last week weighed me down over the weekend-I was all doom & gloom BLECK!! I hate being like that-nothing is ok, nothing is wrong, just like an em otional teenager AGAIN ewwwww. poor Tim, he takes it like a trooper once he figures out what the heck is going on.

but it didn't keep us totally down this weekend :
*taxes got done *house got picked up*dishes got done*laundry got started*bedding got changed*photos got taken on a road trip*bedroom ceiling fan + accessories got purchased & added to the 'to do list'*along w/a few little things for the cc*time got spent w/friends & family separately LOL

this week should be better the taxes are done & the weather after today should be spring LIKE :)

Friday YAY

DOOZY OF A WEEK-I NEED SOME FRESH AIR to help these weeks not be so painful!

last night I had a nice walk-or 2... Gma, Mom, Aunt Sue & I went to the 'Taste of Home' cooking class that was offered here in town. 800 tickets sold + regular restraunt+casino patrons in the parking lot.. Yup we had to park a ways away- I didn't mind the walk I needed it both directions-on the way in to prepare & calm my nerves for the possiblity of 800 people in one room & ont he way out to calm myself from that reality. other than being alot of people in a much too small hallway (where the local booths were set up) it was a good time. much too long, too late, & no free food... HELLO?! SHEESH!! but we did get a bag of goodies I haven't dumped yet-saving that for tonight when i have some QUIET TIME :)

today has been productive-major last minute pre-tax-appointment-work. .... leftovers fed for lunch=clean fridge for new groceries,.... & the sun has shone all morning YESSSSS its even kinda warm out (so I am guessing it might be 30 degrees even!).... & ITS FRIDAY!!!! the sun will come upt b4 me the next 2 mornings! yay!

This weekend I plan to:
-get our taxes completed & filed
-grocery shop
-go to mom's signature party
-take some photos + scrap them

the good stuff in my world

1. hearing- child care children GETTING ALONG-loudly but atleast its a happy loud :)
2. seeing- the sun is shining on the 2' of snow making it nice & bright everywhere
3. creating- scrapping last night & having a plan for tomorrow night
4. feeling- semi prepared for tonight's class-not stressing about it anyway
5. feeling- more confident daily about our tax appointment on Saturday
6. exercise- Tim & I each worked out last night-him more than me
7. food- PB toast for breakfast
8. knowing- school being in session today-late but in session
9. having- friends I know I can rely on
10. smelling- comforting breakfast smells -coffee-eggs-toast

Simple Scrapbooks spotlighted several easy ways to do quickie year @ a glance albums. this is one of their ideas-12 photos from each month on one side, journaling on the other. this is ALOT different from their example-now to decide if I will stick w/the same layout for all 12 months or switch it up.. hmmmm :)

the weekend consisited of -major house cleaning & reorganizing-kim cooking - laundry- birthday money being spent on more fish hehe half of which (mine) died over night oh well they were .88 each LOL- mil visiting- movie watching!! (Redbox freebie-Deck the halls, Netflix-Because I said So, 3:10 to Yuma, & Home of the Brave-all very good movies) -catching up w/old friends @ the Eagle's - napping :)

What are your weekend plans? our main goals are to keep warm (we are looking at below zero temps for over nights again) & to celebrate Tim's birthday.

I didn't get anythign scrapped last night but Aunt Sue did come over & we got our homework turned in EARLY (atleast its in-it maybe returned for fine tuning yet) after that I was TIRED. Hoping to get 3 projects turned out this weekend-LOVE contest+punk dare+12 in 12.

also thinking about trying to steam clean the cc carpets-I think its been a month. & they are due.

well.. I think that's all the babbling I can get done this morning- have a great weekend!!!

ROUTINE!!!!! + random photos

OH how I love ROUTINE!!!! never realize how comforting it is until it is jerked out from under me. I am so pleased to be back in the routine. the bigs are back in school -the littles have their space back to themselves-Tim is back to work-I have sanity back :) or what little I had to begin w/ anyway.
