YAY!

WE MADE IT TO FRIDAY!!! :) not that there was much option or evidence to convince me otherwise but it definately feels like a battle waged (& won) today! (contradictory enough for you??lol) I am so looking fwd to a quiet weekend. mostly KEEPING warm. I am so over winter! (have I said that already?) I think it every day so maybe I have mentioned it here a time or 2. if you are sick of hearing it I apologize. I am not usually that negative (or try to) but this winter is Killing ME.

ACCOUNTABILITY: last night Tim worked late (see what did I tell ya about those 'cut hours'? we are not arguing) so I had time to squeeze in my fit time :) in fact I did 40 fit minutes in total!!! but only did 60oz of water.. I have NO IDEA what my problem is but I am really fighting to get 60 in while working & if I don't then the last 20 doesn't make it.

APPRECIATE: I appreciate that we had no where to go last night so we had breakfast for supper & then curled up under blankets in our chairs & he watched TV(& napped) while I finished my library book! I appreciate the break I've taken from tax prep to read.

Shanen you were so right about the chair!!! it is the black hole of time.. he cannot sit in it w/o falling alseep :) he even commented last nigh b4 he sat down that maybe he'd make it a whole night w/o sleeping in it.. ummmm nope! lol

this weekend looks to be pretty low key just some grocery shopping, library book returning, Tim getting a hair cut, fit time, movie watching(we have Blood Diamonds, Kate & Leopold & A Man Apart from netflix) & maybe some scrapping.

Here's hoping we make it thru w/o more snow, frigid temps & unnecessary excitement. Wishing you the same!!

just the facts.

ACCOUNTABILITY: Yoga last night was GREAT! & SHE gave us print outs of the poses so we can do the routine @ home between classes.. we will see if I manage that LOL I have high hopes but not so high on the motivation LOL Admitting is 1/2 the battle right?? & I didn't have any problem getting the 80oz in! yay! hoping to get back on the FIT tonight or atleast do the yoga routine from class. My weigh in is in 2 days & I don't feel like I've dropped anything but I Think I may have caught sight of a waist *gasp* in the mirror in passing yesterday. I decided to jsut go w/it instead of stopping to 'be sure' -definately afraid it was my eyes playing tricks on me!


APPRECIATE: I definately appreciate the new furniture. I appreciate the yoga teacher, time & availability. I appreciate working from home especially in the cold weather!

I wish I had something exciting or entertaining to report LOL but today its Just the Facts. Sorry to anyone that followed my link from Facebook expecting something-anything-more than this is.

HAPPY HUMP DAY!





as promised.. the new furniture!!!!!!1 we are loving it.. now to figure out how to arrange it to not make the living room feel so stinking small LOL suggestions??

ACCOUNTABILITY: barely snuck in 60oz yesterday -need to drink faster today! & we threw darts so that was the extent of the exercise *sigh* oh well... seems I take 2 days off a week so those are it.

YOGA TONIGHT!!!!!!! WHOHOOOOOOOO so ready for it!

its Tuesday...

& its better than Monday :) & that's pretty great!!

after yesterday's craziness I went home & crashed on the living room floor next to Tim while he was watching tv @5:15. I seriously did NOT see 5:30! I woke up around 7/7:15 & got up to eat a salad then sat & did bills to pay out today then we picked up the living room for our delivery today-nope didn't get it shampooed BUT he did get my new iron scrolly thingy hung over the couch spot! not quite a fair trade but it worked for last night. we were both in bed b4 10-amazing! exhausted. Mondays can be rough! lol

ACCOUNTABILITY: I ended the day w/only 60 oz but its better than 40 :) & no exercise other than the normal work day laps around the basement LOL I am however putting an extra cup of veggies on my salads & eating the protien of the kids' lunch & snacks.. example - yesterday: yogurt, peanut butter, turkey, cottage cheese, etc. today already sausage patty & scrambled eggs on 1/2 slice of whole grain bread, hot cocoa (hm) & am working on my water.

excitement: tonight our furniture will be delievered!!! :D between 5 & 7 YAY!!!! can't freaking wait b/c I am starting to wonder if it will all fit :( eeek then after that instead of laying around & enjoying it we have to run off to dart league -ha- NOT funny. furniture photos tomorrow!

today's to do list is finishing up odds & ends & maybe mopping the wood floor. oh yea.. & keeping warm haha

ISO

I am In Search Of: a computer job from home that lets me sleep till noon & be done by 4PM. anyone, anyone, beuller?? As much as I love the kids I think I love sleeping in more.. if I could find something to pay what I make (so we can keep what we have of course) & fit the above criteria, I'd jump!!!

In other news: Can I start the impeachment process of WINTER?? it snowed over night Saturday/Sunday & I hear we are to expect more a couple of days this week.. COMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN its been done, over rated, burnt OUT. get over it.

ACCOUNTABILITY: yesterday I finished 80 oz on my way to bed, & got 30 minutes of Fit time in while Tim was @ walmart getting painting supplies :) I also used the broom to clean a good couple of inches of snow off the van & sidewalk to go to McDonald's for brunch (chicken wraps LOL)

APPRECIATE: I do appreciate the families I have that keep my child care home full. I did appreciate the sleeping in this weekend! I did appreciate the hot water I had for a nice soaking bath last night. I so appreciate my online friends!!!!

today's to do list is to stay warm mostly. I will also find some bread to bake -oatmeal again?- laundry is started & receipts finished up as they are due out by Friday even tho I promised them today --oops! really wishing I'd saved the love seat from the landfill!! I'd have it down here, be on it, wrapped in a blanket doing receipts today! brrrrrrrrrrrrrr

the good & the bad

MY SCALE HATES ME & the feeling is mutual! I have been doing great @ getting my water, getting moving on some exercise time BUT I am still @ the top of my yo yo after being @ the bottom last week. So I bought nothing but healthy stuff @ the store today..even when Tim tempted me w/little debbies & ice cream bars I refused -go me- I tore in to the kitchen (it needed it!) got the counters all wiped down & the unnecessaries out of there & the floor mopped WOW different kitchen!! Then I cleaned off the dining table YAY! then I headed to the bathroom & did some in there. Tim left to go hunting so I got the tv :) ONE HOUR of Fit time!!! I am very proud of myself! I even tried 3 things that I didn't do well on to begin w/& 2 brand new things. Now I am rewarding myself w/some computer & scrappy time.

Yesterdays accountability (before I forget): I did get my 80 oz in & 30 fit minutes :)

proposed changes: more fruits & veggies daily, more Fit time(getting up earlier to get some in this morning), wearing the pedometer, baking w/more wheat(cookies too Shanen?), Less carbs in general (OUCH), get a kids work out dvd & do it w/them 2-3 days/week, any other suggestions?

keepers: 80 oz of water, going to bed hungry, leaving 3 bites @ every meal (last night I only ate 1/2 my sandwich since we had appetizers),

Yay for Friday!

I am looking fwd to 2 days of relative relaxing. Sure we have our normal to do lists (cleaning, tax prep, shopping) w/a few fun things (painting, hunting, movies) listed but mostly I am looking fwd to keeping warm, hanging out, & doing things slowly :)

I flopped my first loaf of machine bread ever yesterday LOL... it was about 2" thick in the end. I have no idea what happened but it was nasty. so going to try again today

ACCOUNTABILITY: I was frustrated w/myself last night b/c after work we hauled the couches out for pick up today, ate carry out pizza (gc+coupon=free) for supper & took a nap on the living room floor :( so then when I got up it was too late for my full fit time *sigh* but I did do some & I know some is better than none but still frustrated. hoping to be better disciplined tonight & the rest of the weekend! I did get my whole 80oz in yesterday + an extra 20 :) so that was all good. I think I am doing so well on these 2 that I am going to try to add something else to be accountable for... maybe 3 servings of fruits/veggies? I know sometimes I am good & other times I am not. maybe I will do better if I have to report it. I will give it a test run this weekend & report in on Monday.

APPRECIATE: I appreciate the husband that was napping on the floor (reason I was) that meant he was HOME. I appreciate that the sun has shined/shone almost all week :) hoping it does again today! I appreciate the 40 degree temp we had yesterday that melted almost all of our snow! I appreciate the heads up that its getting cold again.

Today: receipts, honey wheat bread-again only better, & they are dying to vac so we will pick up & they will get to :) I am sure there will be coloring too.

ok.. off to do a warm breakfast, have a GREAT FRIDAY!

REALLLLLLLLLLY????

I was so hoping/thinking it was Friday this morning as I hit snooze for 1/2 an hour :(

ACCOUNTABILITY: yesterday I ended up w/right at 80oz of water, did my 30 fit minutes right after work while Tim was working late, then I had an hour of yoga... she changed it up a bit & we did some really working/toning moves & it was a nice smooth flow from one into the next... loved it!!! I am only a little sore this morning & less sore than just KNOWING there muscles here & there that have been ignored for a while.. a LONG while :)

Yesterday I did get the bread made but no receipts were made .. maybe today & if not DEFINATELY tomorrow & I am ok w/that :) I am actually looking fwd to getting them done & not as overwhelmed as in years past YAY!!!

Today I am making honey wheat bread in the machine, & enjoying the little ones.. if there's receipt time fine, if not oh well. :)

Oh my good thing its Wednesday!

because I just couldn't handle it if it was Monday or Tuesday again/still/only. I had a horrible training last night.. good thing is that its only every 5 years but damn I hate it w/a passion when I have it.. its Manditory Abuse Reporters Training. Being in the child care field makes me a manditory abuse reporter & they think we need training on what to identify as POSSIBLE abuse.. well they enforce that its not our job to investigate or prove but they still need to show us 20 mintues of horrifying photos of real life abused children of the 3 hour class. UGH. I ended up coming home w/an excrutiating headache that I took ibuprofen for & went to bed. I complain also that the class went until 9:30 on a week night. not that I am not normally up past that -I am. but to be out & about & not home, warm & relaxing is DIFFERENT Bordering on unreasonable IMO. ok.. now that I have that out of my system.....

ACCOUNTABILITY: I ended yesterday w/70 oz. & no Fit time :( BUT tonight is YOGA!! & hoping for some FIT time b4 it!!!

Appreciate: I appreciate that the class I HAD to take was only$5 for me. I appreciate that Tim got John to throw darts in my place last night so we don't have a make up game holding up the league. I appreciate the cupboard & freezer I am still able to pull food from :)

Yesterday I was able to get my last 3 months to balance :) WHOHOOOO noW to just total & write each family's year end receipts! then its sorting & totally our shopping receipts, highlighting & totally the bank statements, & putting it all together... this time of year I think how awesome it would be to have an accountant but I like to keep (&spend myself) the money I make LOL so its out of the question.

today I am hoping to get those receipts written & handed out, oatmeal bread made(dry ingredients already in bowl b4 Nat had a breakdown & needed me worse than the bread did), & headache kicked. wish me luck b/c today I just might need it.

HELLO tuesday!

I am so ready to be productive today!! :) but first yesterday's reports:

ACCOUNTABILITY: I ended the day w/100! oz & 30 minutes of Fit time :) I even did a bit more strength training than usual & TOTALLY worked those thighs YIKES!!! didn't expect them to function today but I am having no problems so far YAY! the 100oz was a total surprise I was just THIRSTY lol.

APPRECIATION: I appreciate that Tim's job has promised him the minimum of 32 hours -way better than zero BY FAR! & usually when they get 'officially cut' they work longer hours & end up w/40 anyway LOL I appreciate that we have cupboards & freezer to eat from when weeks are tight income vs. bills. but we did fabulous this weekend & w/a little creativity I think we can make it thru the whole week! :) I appreciate my child care parents' patience w/my lack of paperwork sometimes :) hoping to catch up this week!

to-do-today:
*as many end of year totals as possible
*bake banana bread
*call post office ISO pkg that is a month overdue
*vac the edges w/the regular vac this time-its ok to not be perfect
*enjoy the little ones some too :)

I smell sausage so Its time for breakfast!!!

Almost missed ya, Monday!

what a Monday.. nothing out of the ordinary just spent teh morning doing laundry, tending little ones, & searching for a plug adapter to shopvac the edges of the cc....

this weekend we KICKED THE CRAP out of our to do list!!! jeeeeeeeze dare I list it?? ok..
*bought/replaced dryer outlet
*tightened heated ceiling fan
*bought/replaced florescent bulbs in cc-the long tube ones we have never dealt w/before
*carried old couch out to truck -around the banister & fish tank -wish I had photos!
*patched crack in the wall over said couch-T
*hunted both mornings-T
*cooked from the cupboards/freezer-K
*scrapped 2 pages from the October planned box-K
*watched 3 movies-K
*LAUNDRY-K
*kept kitchen caught up-K
*Eye Check up-T

ok so I got a bit carried away on the 'to do' list part but we did all that this weekend! SHABANG!! & still had time to nap hehehe

so Tim found out today his hours r cut by a day starting this week. Sure hope its a Friday b/c he's usually pretty productive when I am working & he is off. I am already forming alist of things he can do LOL... what's meant to be will be & there is no point in stressing about it :)

ACCOUNTABILITY: Saturday/Sunday I didn't work out either day & slipped to 60oz/day in the water dept. but atleast I watched what/ how much I ate to 'balance' for it....
