a beeeeeeeeautiful monday!!

it is gorgeous in our neck of the woods today!! 2.5 hours outside this morning .. after a busy weekend the lack of 'kims' I heard was WELCOME!! LOL

so Saturday was CRAZY pricing then ordering fence + shingles YAHAW!! Shinglers will be here in 3 weeks YAY! WE START digging fence pole holes as soon as it arrives! (7-10 days) cannot wait to have a privacy fence!!!!!! watched Kyler play baseball-way cool! he's such a stinking athlete!!! GO KY! Did some stocking up @ Sam's club. so yesterday was meant to be aday of rest & compared to Saturday it really was but whew it was still alot of work! took down the tree by the garage that would be in the way of th eroofers, trimmed another in the front that needed it desperately, hauled all of that to the tree dump, ran out of gas LOL Tim mad lasagna for dinner YUMMMM & I caught up on Days of our Lives.. LOVE DVR!

Tomorrow we are going on a very impromptu field trip.. our local trolley company is offering free rides today/tomorrow so we signedup for a trip the the bigpark in town WHOHOOOOO WISH US LUCK LOL

ANOTHER ACTION PACKED ONE PLANNED THIS WEEK!

TONIGHT- celebrating Nicki's nursing school graduation tonight@ the Eagles
TOMORROW- Tim is getting a new filling @9, I wanna hit the DM farmer's market if time, we have to go to Home Depot & order our fence to be delivered (SUPER YAY) & pick out & buy our shingles (YAY), grab soemthign for lunch then hit Kyler's baseball game @3, find some energy somewhere to give Costco a shot(an honest one this time-I was grumpy last time) then home to unload everything.
SUNDAY- MY plans are to go to Afton's pre4th celebration & TIM'S are to take a tree down & other yard WORK.

hahaha I am doing it again.. YAY!!!! SO EXCITED!!

today is about goals!

1. we got financing for the privacy fence+roof so now to get the building permit - need to fill it out today & deliver it to the night deposit tonight!
2. pick up boxes from the appliance store for the airplane we want to build next week in the yard!
3. narrow down where the new clothesline will go when the fence is up! yay
4. get a great yoga dvd for myself + scratch out time for it again!
5. get a great kids yoga dvd & let them start
6. finish up month end paperwork & maybe even some BACK MONTHS paperwork :O

WHOHOOOOOOOO that looks like afun list!!! :)

2 IN THE SAME WEEK??

WOW unbelievable!!! maybe soon I'll get back to bloggin daily... nawwwww.. lol

last night I transplanted about 6 plants around the house & deck & watched some of last week's Days on DVR.... so exciting lol

the rest of the week I am planning a chiro appt, tilling up the spots under the deck for the hostas from the old house, month end paperwork, & some carpet cleaning.

not much excitement but necessities. :) occassionally we have to do that.

Monday

I am trying Really hard to adapt the going attitude of welcoming Mondays... I am struggling w/it but trying none the less!! Mondays are a great day to restart the to do lists, adapt new attitudes on lots of things & grab som echill time from the weekend.

this past weekend was a good one :) I attended Katie's Signature party & a cc provider retreat that was AWESOME!, 'supervised' a big ole hole dug in the yard, then another in the other yard to fill the first, bought some fish, and groceries, got a sunburn & some sore muscles from the combination of 1.5 hr of yoga @ the retreat & then yard work yesterday. whew if Monday is slower than that I welcome it!!

today's to do list includes some reading, some paperwork, slow moving children, & maybe JUST maybe some yard work this evening when it cools off a bit.

WHOHOOOOOOOOO another weekend :)

our sump was tested yesterday & it WORKED = dry basement YEHAW!!!!!

THIS WEEKEND WE PLAN to attend Katie's Signature Homestyles party, a cc retreat, a fish store & accomplish the front yard tiling, throwing in some side yard if there's some leftovers, & digging up of some old lines @ the old house in prep for burning then some purchasing of some roofing+ fence supplies WHOOOOOHOOOOOO fun weekend planned!! :)

MOVIE UPDATE:

this week we attempted to watch Meet the Browns-NOT what we thought so turned it off shortly into it. Then watched National Treasure 2 LOVED IT!!!!!

Last week we saw: White Noise 2-suspensful GOOD, 27 Dresses-LOVED IT!, 30 days of Night- YUCK!! & The Interpreter-GOOD movie!! loved the family values in it.

whohooooooo Summer is well underway... even tho it was a funked up week mother nature decided I needed a lighter day today... so in the 3"downpour this morning our basement decided to let in some wata... about 100 gallons of it!!!! holy smokes!!!! I am soooooooooooooooo glad it happened on a week day during work hours so I could start sucking it up as it came in-not that I was able to keep up but atleast I kept it confined! tim took the day off & grabbed the 5 gallon shop vac & was sucking wter up right beside me & my 1 gallon carpet cleaner :) I cancelled cc for all that weren't already present & sent 2 of the 5 home early. we vac'd for over an hour, then we tore sheetrock off of 3/4 of the bottom 1/2 of the wall finding DRY INSULATION!!!!!! YEHAW!!!!!! sooooooooooooo exciting!!!! :)

so the rest of the day the fan blew on it & I occassionally ran the shampooer over it while Tim took off for Des Moines for a dehumidifier, wall sealer, & tile reel. tonight we removed the rest of the bottom 1/2 of the sheetrock, moved the fan to dry the wall so we can paint on that sealer, this weekend he's installing a sump pump in the basement floor & the next dry weekend he & John are digging up the flower bed opposite that wall & laying a new tile YAY!!!!!! ALL THE BASES SHOULD BE COVERED.

OFF TO check the dryness of the floor/wall joint to see if we can put a first layer of sealer on... wish me luck!!!

migraine m-w, chiro wed, super sore neck muscles after chiro thurs, first day of summer vaca fri.

I welcome a weekend!!!!

tonight is the first GNO for me EVA! wow... heading to our local winery for some dollar glasses & tasting.

tomorrow Tim has a side job & I plan to work @ the old house

Sunday more old house stuff + some movie time w/Tim

next week we will have summer vaca well underway.. wish me luck ;) every day will be a different batch of kiddos a there are lots of part timers this year.

today our count is 7 littles + 6 bigs.. pretty good mix .. so far-no blood LOL just kidding we rarely have bleeding :) the 3 big girls are going to the library for an IPTV special deal (they are the only ones I trust in public w/o me LOL)
