Really- I entered another scrapping competition-I have NO IDEA why I do this to myself but I do over & over-sometimes I leave a bigger gap between the let down some times not so much- well I guess I have left the ample amount of time as I can't remember the last one I was in LOL

Good Monday Morning :)

after a busy weekend I was surprised how easy it was to get up today. but up I am! :) even have laundry going + fish fed. Now Kids are fed & 5 are out the door to the bus stop.

I am headbutting w/a virus/trojan- downloader.swizzor to be exact -that has attached himself to 2 of my easyshare files GRRRRRRR not the most commonly used on my computer.. you jerk! avg finally released an update today so hopefully it will be THE ONE I need. wish me luck.

And Sunday Busy-ness

Wow another packed day!



Up to a bowl of lucky charms LOL yumm & a cup of coffee nuked . mmmm not as good as fresh but gets me moving' just the same :) Then I dressed in comfies & got kickin the mess of a kitchen's a$$! wow was it in need of some special attention!! got the bakers rack loaded LOVIN IT!!! counters cleaned off & reorganized, dishes washed & put away & scrubbed the floor by hand to be sure to get the baseboards + edges REALLY WELL. while I was stuck in the kitchen Tim did the living, bath & hallway. then moved the wedding cake tops (blown glass) to the tv stand + put their domes over them to keep them sparkly :) Katie & Tommy brought my Signature homestyles purchases HOLY SURPRISE PACKAGE!!!!!!! WAS SO LIKE CHRISTMAS!!! I ordered a nice big shelf basket for the top of my fridge for cook+phone books & the scroll tealight accent for my wall of wall wizards. then the surprise package OMG!!!! 2 baskets, a mini-firewood rack, 2 things that went straight to my gift shelf so SHHHHH NOT TELLING, the giant key rack came to my scrap room for some creative use, & a wall wizard insert! SO EXCITED!!!! I can use 5 of them immediately, the other 2 will be GREAT GIFTS! :) they went on their way, we then finished our jobs, changed clothes & hit the road for some fishes for the tank as our reward for such a productive weekend!

we went to a new Petland in the West Glenn/Jordan Creek area. I picked out 3 of each of 3 kinds of tetras & danio then 10 neons. (all on sale .18-.88 each) then we grabbed lunch @ Red Robin-quickly becoming our favorite in the area. & HOME! I scooped the slush from the walk while Gus was pottying, Tim put the fish bags in the tank to aclimate. then I got to work on the trim work in the hallway that he had no patience for. by the time I was done, he had the fish all dumped in & fed-way cool.. LOVE THE HUM of the filter + air pump & seeing the air bubbles. already planning a tank for child care LOL really wish I could go back to 1/2 assing things sometimes!!!! but for now I am all-or-nothing EVERYTHING. :P

Trim work is done, plate covers back on -definately going to brushed nickel soon!!! needing new light cover also ew. LOL as Katie so nicely put it-something more updated :) LOVE HER!!!!! I'd settle for somethign CLEAR rather than frosted w/blue flowers :)

so here I sit typing away rather than working on this page that has been haunting-taunting- me for a week. may as well break down & get the paint out - I can't figure out anything else to do w/it. .... wish me luck to focus!

what do we do w/o internet?

-First I must apologize to any & everyone I appeared to have abandoned friday afternoon.. My router decided it was ready to DIE. so IT DID. kapoot nada no more. SO I was FREAKING OUT-called Mom to see if she was heading north during the afternoon-NO, called Tim for him to OFFER -ha- to stop & pick one up on the way home-sigh, so I resign to being depressed & clean my child care kitchen LOL, freeze extra friendship bread, feed kids snack & do paperwork unti they left. then spent a ton of Time w/Tim in the evening LOL we ate then watched mr. Brooks. wierd!!! but good yet.



-so to continue the productivity to attempt to get over the lack of net today. Tim painted the hallway an amazing color of brown. i am in love. it is perfect-actually, its the color I had planned the light color in our bedroom to be that turned out YELLOW lol. I lazed around until 11 like I had planned :) then ran out the door. had 3 places to hit b4 they each closed @12 :) was back to Mom's b4 noon! GO ME There the productivity continues! we loaded her baker's rack in the van for my kitchen :) & tore into her cabinet in her basement-OMG I WANT ONE!!!!!!! its an antique THING. I have no idea what its officially called but it has a removeable pie safe, tin insets on the doors, the work space pulls out for an additional 12 inches of space, drawers, doors & tin OH MY! we had to tear it into 3 pieces to get it up the stairs!! she was already stripping the zillion layers of paint off when I stopped back by later!!!!!!!!



-I came home to a GORGEOUSLY PAINTED hallway!!!!!!!! love it. I scrubbed the wall, baseboard & floor in the kitchen where I was expecting to put the baker's rack. DONE love it!!! letting it sit till tomorrow then going to REARRANGE MY KITCHEN to use it :) its a bit smaller than I had thought but its only temporary until I get a THING like MOM'S!!!!! gotta get me one!!!!! seriously in the next 12 months I will get one :) then we put the fish tank back together, ate lunch & loaded in the van to have a mini shopping spree @ walmart.



-There I decided (actually on the way but shhhhhhhh that's just details) I was getting a router. we also got fish tank supplies, wipe blades for the van -note shut off wipers when parking in the winter- pretty pink tulips, another glass canister for the upstairs kitchen, hooks for a -soon- future coat/bag rack for the basement cubby, & pop w/reeces for the ride home. on the way we decided to go to the sledding party we had earlier decided to skip.



-so threw the purchases in the house, layer on more clothes, camera in hand,

back out the door. a few usable shots, frozen toes, & fresh air quota filled HOME AGAIN. into freshly painted hallway & chili in the crockpot YUMMMMMM



-Tim set up tank & filled w/water while I was on the phone w/tech support for router not communicating w/desktop. they had to talk me thru setting up laptop to work w/o the desktop WHOHOOOOOOOOOO so the old machine is now sitting dormant until replacement can be purchased then transfer of important information & then I will be having it reset to minimum for school age kids' games. they will be ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!!! since then I have been on here catching up w/the girls + blogs :) wishing I was scrapping LOL oh well.. maybe tomorrow after painting touch ups, a good deep cleaning & Tim making breakfast (NOT in that order).

random thursday

*last night we had roast in the crockpot so we each threw some on a tortilla w/some cheese him adding bbq & me not YUMMMMMMM easy supper!!!! then we cleaned out the fish tank!!!! the nasty yucky rocks are gone LONG gone lol then he was windexing the sides so I cleaned the kitchen -begrudgingly but its done. then we watched the rest of Wife Swap. Magician man was FREAKY!!!!!! then I stretched out to try to watch Myth Busters w/him 'since he had watched my show'-whatever guilt tripper!! :P well the joke was on him b/c I fell alseep & would have slept there all night had he not pestered me to the point of Pi$$ed off! I just didn't realize how tired I was. had a hard time getting up today too. its Thursday -its 10below zero actual temp-too cold to be awake!



*luckily the kids are slow moving today too! I think I have my homework all reasearched-jsut have to put it in order. WHOHOOOOOO



*back to working on taxes when the homework is done BLAH OR maybe I should do both every day hmmmmmmmm can I do it???? lol



*Missing my evening chats & scraps! but I suppose Tim & I needed time together w/our separate weekends lately.



*speaking of weekends-Katie & I have a tentative date for Saturday night for some scrapping & probably a chic flick if the guys have other plans! WHOHOOOOO

HUMP DAY!!

just when I thought that washer drama was over -who can say that?? lol (or better yet WHO WOULD WANT TO??) THEY WERE HERE 2 HRS YESTERDAY TO REPLACE various parts... got them all in & back together to discover that there had been water in the motor in the past year sometime & it took out THAT BEARING TOO! o-m-g! so they ordered a new motor to install 1/31. here's hoping allnew guts makes for a quiet machine!!! it SHOULDN'T have but it WIPED ME OUT!!!!! I was zonked... I made & ate supper, layed down on the bed for 2 minutes-20 later I jumped ran about throwing things together I had planned to take --pages I needed to trade mom, garbage bag of clothes for cousins, menus to turn in for food check, & tote for class. I sat in class for an hour NOT DOING A SINGLE THING!!! omg what a loser! everyone else was prepping books for lamination, laminating or SOMETHIGN i JUST SAT & WATCHED. sheesh!!! last 1/2 Aunt Sue & i brainstormed our next theme-CIRCUS. then we split. ran errands & came home to a quiet house.. Tim & Gus both asleep on teh couch. I was loivng the quiet time!!!

today I have been kickin' this homework OUT!!! havn't stopped to count but I am wlell on my way to having all 35 activites DONE!! hoooohoooo also have new baby again Plus the regular day to day stuff -minus luandry decided to give it a rest. HA. roast in crockpot smellin' up the house!!! YUMMMMMMM

tonight either mindless scrapping now that I have the required black page fo rthe set I had going, or going to the library to research an african folk tale I am DYING to get into the curriculum. we will see how cold it is when I clock out!!!

gosh- time to focus!!!

focusing-

having somewhat of a deep moment already this morning!

-last night- lounged in the living room w/Tim watching AFV (normally I HATE THIS SHOW) but I was thinking of a safety nap then scrapping but I was WIDE AWAKE so no nap afterall but we normally don't watch TV together unless its meal time... ANYWAY!!! on w/the deepness Kim! a few clips made me chuckle THEN there IT was! a series of Cat Clips. OMG I was laughing sooooooooooooo hard I was crying UNCONTROLLABLY! I was hysterical couldn't stop-everytime another cat clip came on later in the show I would laugh out loud & he'd go 'u r still laughing @ the other one aren't ya?' lol YUP sure was! he later commented that he hadn't heard me laugh like that in forever- I realized its b/c I haven't. all the house stuff, moving, remodel, setting up new child care, incoorporating the new w/the old bills, then the holiday spending-oye I think I might have been a bit stressed out the past 6 months or so LOL last night was so relaxing-good healthy guilt free belly laughing, so much so my ribs hurt today.

-yesterday- started my newest baby. Baby Wyatt is 6 weeks old! YIKES!! teeny tiny itty bitty WOW reminded me to SLOOOOOWWWWW DOOOOOWWWWWWWWN! hard to believe its only been 8 months since Lily was that little but I have forgotten it all... my arms are JELLO today from juggling them both all day but its so worth it!!! I will sleep so good this summer w/4 under a year!!! YIKES don't think about it.

-no ambition- hmmmm Gus had me up promptly @5 today but I still skipped my workout. its only 13 minutes total but I just CONSCIOUSLY decided NOT to work out. hmmmm wonder what's up w/that. I didn't think about why I was I just Didn't do it.

-mental growth spurts- everyone!! the little guys seem to have them right before their next birthday IMO I notice the most new stuff coming to the surface in that last 6 weeks b4 they turn. Adults - never noticed if there is a pattern but I certainly have been in a mental growth spurt for a while. from picking a word FOCUS and incoorporating it constantly. it sure has me slowing down mentally & really trying to soak up, share, & enjoy more. High Hopes I suppose.

-scrapping- so since I spent the evening on the couch I didn't get any scrapping done. I did LOOK @ a page I have laid out when I went ot my room to watch The Medium but I decided I need it on BLACK to pop so hoping to swing by Mom's tonight after lab night & trade some spargo for black pages. Also have been thinking about the book I offered to make for Jeff. each girl her own of her birthday, then just make new pages each year. Easy enough RIGHT? riiiiiiigghtttt . Maybe I will have them each current for him for Christmas. or Lyla's for her Birthday in October. then Katelyn's for hers in January. Those are good -doable- goals. Gotta flip thru photos & see if I have the ones I want for a LONG OVER DUE CIRCLE JOURNAL. T*O*D*A*Y!!!!!! even tho there won't be any scrapping tonight -lab night.

-childcare- had my first visit in the new house from the food program sponsor (Deb) yesterday. she was pleased w/the arrangement but my record keepign needs some fine tuning. In the old house I had a set routine here-not so much. Working on that today!

-multitasking- eek is it really less productive than we thought?? If I am not doing atleast 2 things @ a time, I am not feeling productive. even if I am sitting idle, watchign Tv or holding a baby, My mind is moving-racing @ times- to what needs done, what is done & what I can do next. Standing here typing this long drawn out -sorry!- post, I am watchign kids come in the door, answering questions about the day ahead, listening to The Wizard of Oz & thinking about breakfast (fried eggs w/a choice of bagel, toast or tortilla + hotchocolate or milk + Tator tots) am I really FOCUSing while multitasking so much?? hmmmmm something to think about!

the long weekend story

another crazy one -
Friday night headed out to Katie & Tommy's for supper. They made tacos YUMMMMMMMM!!! Then we played Texas Hold'em SO-MUCH-FUN!!!! (I won hahahaha)

Saturday I was trying to be lazy while Tim started pulling the plastic corners off the hallway to mud & get them ready for paint. Then 10ish we got a call that his mom was being rushed back to Mercy for unexplained pain & low blood pressure. They took her right in that ER. I got my nails clipped + filed & several catnaps in :) while waiting on ultrasound Tim & I ran to Home Depot for hallway paint (tan) & painting supplies then Kohls for outfit for Katelyn's first bday. by the time we were back they had the u/s done + found a blood clot + confirmed that the pic line needed to come out. a few minutes later they were shooing us all out so we scattered -Tim & I stopped @ LJS for late lunch on the way out of town. when we got back to Osceola, we ran thru the grocery store. Then home so I could throw on some dressier clothes, make-up, & unstatic my hair LOL. then I was off for the banquet photo shoot for mom. by that time I had such a headache I begged out EARLY. did the required candids +group shots, received a thank you framed certificate for photographing the shows I did in 07 & hit the road. Driving proved alot more painful than I had anticipated & realllllllly wanted to stop & throw up, but made it home. Tim was over working on thawing some pipes for a friend & I called to tell him to have fun b/c I was in no mood for company. Showered & Watched What a Girl Wants alone :) nice peaceful evenign -in bed @10:30 after a couple of doses of excederine tension+minimal food.

Sunday- up early ish w/same migraine so dosed & hit the couch- about noon I started feeling real. Tim went to Redbox for our freebie & we watched Mr. Woodcock DUMB!!!!!!! so glad it was FREE!!!! very little funny stuff IMO. then I was pain free so I slurped some more coffee, started laundry, & scrapped a page while watchign Gone in 60 Seconds(decided I must get that soundtrack). Put gifts in bags & pried Tim off the couch to go to Mom's for the party. 90 photos later he drags me home LOL. I changed back in to comfies, worked on laundry, did dishes, made pancakes, flipped more laundry, stripped the bed, & scrapped another page. Edited both photo sessions, did more laundry & was in bed by 11.

WHEW what a whirlwind I was hoping for some quiet weekends now that the holidays were over! HA!!

Tomorrow night I have the saddle club banquet to photograph & Sunday my family is having a bday part for Katelyn's 1st & Jeff's 28th (YIKES my baby brother is THAT old??)
Nothing exciting but plenty of rest :)

the kids go back to school to day YAY!! they have a 2 hr delay for either drifting or low low temps, I don't know which & it really doesn't matter much to me... I just know not to send them to the bus stop until 9:30 :)

I am SORE!!!! gosh-I now fully understand the LOVE-HATE relationship concept --FULLY!! I love her for what she does -getting me put back in but OH MAN am I so sore after!! I keep thinking if I could just sit down I'd be better but sitting on the floor against a cold wall isnt the best of posture =not better than standing!!

ended up draining the batteries in the camera + back ups yesterday so am just now sharing more photos from the day.

THURSDAY-

• new toys -I had a shopping spree in a child care family's basement last night-LOVE TRADE!


• new 'at computer' position-stacked printer on 2 drawer filer, then laptop on that, so I am standing while online-have a better view of playroom/kitchen/front yard! I can see clear the mailbox+end of the drive!! its SUPER!!!! plus I am spending LOTS less time on my backside :)


• fresh coffee-YUMMMMMM


• laundry getting done-YAY!!! seems to relax me ??? wierd I think


• thinking about the photos+paper on my scrap table upstairs-hoping something hits & it flows quickly tonight-I hate having to work @ it.

*get family receipts written
*finish steamcleaning the playroom carpet
*water the plants
*scoop litter
*wash dishes & clean out the fridge
*decide to push Whirlpool/Maytag for a new washer
*enjoy some quiet time
*be a good friend to somone needing to vent & gave support she needed

today I didn't:
*vac the stairs or upstairs carpets
*scrap a page
*get outside more than 30 jaunt to the mailbox
*exercise fully-squeezed in a few crunches w/8 m/o on belly while doing floor time
*talk to my mom
*bleach the floors/handles
*get my 80 oz of water down

ok--- enough babble- off to watch NCIS & try to scrap a page!!!! You'll know if I get it done LOL

This is Katie's nursery pattern... ISN'T IT ADORABLE???? I got this reminant from the bargain bin to do something for her w/.... now.. to get ultra creative & DO something w/it LOL
& THIS VASE WAS $3!!!!! OH MY GOSH I almost bought 2! I soooooooooooo love it!!!!!! WAS THINKING buttons but thing I got home & my button collection is so small it wouldn't even cover the bottom.. then I thought flowers but I really like having them sorted out, so its sitting pretty albeit empty-atop my album shelf where I an drool over it from my chair :)

I am back!

WOW Friday was a doozy for me!! I woke up ok but 1/2 thru my lil workout session I went running to the bathroom- w/not getting sick or having anything over a low grade fever, I couldn't valify closing down. So I worked in short bursts- & rested most of the day. The kids were great!!!!! Considering I got it from them & most of them had already been SICK. Their parents were more worried about what they'd do w/them if I closed rather than them getting sick again. So together we limped thru the day-never so glad to have a separate kitchen from home!! I left a MESS when I did close for the day-finally! I layed on the couch wrapped in blankets fevering & napping off & on until 10. IMO a fever is fighting whatever is ailing so since I didn't NEED to feel better I let the fever work its magic. I showered -painfully @ 10 & went to bed. Tim was out & needed a ride @ 12:30 so I got up & threw on another layer of clothes to go get him. Realizing that the fever was GONE!!!! no more achies!!!!1 YAHOOOOO by morning the naseau was also gone! I wa sa new person.

Saturday I went to Katie's Signature party, then she & I bummed around Walmart for a few hours :) after Tim & I had supper, we went to Dale's for a while. I slept like I had never slept before! YAY!

Sunday we worked on stage 2 of cleaning up storm damage @ Tim's mom's place, then visited w/her for a while. She's doing so much better!! then home for naps LOL @ bedtime Tim started getting sick :( so he got next to no sleep last night but off to work he went! SO PROUD OF HIM!!! have 2 more out today w/it. after doing some reading online today I believe we have passed around the norovirus -EWWWWW hoping to have it all washed out soon!!! bleck!!!

very little scrapping done last night-photo, paper, letter stickers layed out, title decided on but the design isn't working for me... maybe tonight!

no to do list yet today. but off to focus on the here & now!

What an evening! zoom zoom

that car commercial is now going thru my head 'zoom zoom' & I have no one to blame but myself LOL surely the school kids will give me something different b4 they go to school. Anyone else do that?! get a song stuck for days -not even a song for me usually a chorus but occassionally a verse or just a line 'Life is a Highway & I'm gonna ride it all night long. If your goin' my way ..." OR over the weekend it was 'Joy to the fishies in the deep blue sea-Joy to you & me" that's it, no more LOL TIm finally said -put your ipod on & find soemthing else to sing horribly. :P thanks dear-I can say that but you are supposed to be my ego boost ;) j/k I am ok w/the fact that I cannot sing! usually I Only torture the kids (under 10y/o) & very seldom does Tim get a dose-obviously a little bit goes along way LOL BACK ON TRACK!

Had a parent pick up @ the last minute putting our supper behind last night grrrr I have a tendency to get used to the early pick ups when they are consistant then when I have a late one I get frustrated :( So I zoomed thru supper prep-homemade salisbury steaks (sorta-subbed the mushroom sauce for gravy YUMMMM)+garlic Mashed Potatoes Double Yummmm. bribed Tim to do dishes I put leftovers into a container for me to bring to work today YAY, he mixed up beef jerkey to dehydrate over night, I took my shower & hibernated in my room all night. finished up my FOCUS(previous post) looooooove it!! tim says its gay-what does he really know???

Came down stairs for something & saw 'ghost Tiger'. I did this w/Chelsea too. Right after we had her put to sleep for about a week I catch glimpses of where she'd be laying or stretching (which she was unable to do later in her life) out of the corner of my eye & it would make me pause & LOOK but there was never even anything dark enough that I could have mistaken for her. WIERD. Well it has started w/Tigie- last night on my way past the nursery heading back up stairs I saw 'him' on the nursery floor. Stopped-backed up-LOOKED- no Tiger. Shook my head up th estairs. Explained it all to Tim -who thougth I was WACK- until he realized he hadn't seen Honey all evening (its after 7 by now) & I swore I did after the last child left (meaning he must have slipped out when I took trash out while Tim was cleaning kitchen after supper) so we tore thru the house looking, calling, & franticly looking for him. NO HONEY! so out the front I went- no Honey. out the back basement door I looked BINGO!!!! so I step out to nab him- scared a 'stray' (not a scraggly looking flea infested stray so someone is feeding it) that I didn't know was there-nabbed Honey & brought him in. he was POOF BALL for an hour hahahaha all 14.3 # of him appeared to be 30# LOL so Tim is now a believer-said 'good thing u saw Tiger' I said yea & was brave nough to mention it to you! so now we are being EXTRA careful when we go out to watch the door latch behind us.

I woke up 3x last night w/Honey ON ME. this is not a snuggly cat- nor does he sleep on your lap! but I woke up once w/him on my side, another time on my back (which I love) & the third,he was accross my feet(really not safe for him LOL) Not sure what to think of his new found affection yet, taking some getting used to -Chelsea used to sleep on my back or curled around our heads, Tiger used to hog my pillow or sleep on my stomach kneading the whole time, Honey has never been a snuggler. Maybe he is mellowing some more HA!

sorry for all the babble about our babies but I think I always go thru a phase that I appreciate them more right after we've lost one. Also feel like I tend to ignore the healthy ones a bit to focus extra attention on the sickie.

SO I AM SCRAPPING A PAGE TONIGHT! OR 3 MAYBE ( to catch up on my LOAD) wish.me.luck.please.

OH I did get the call confirming our washer(s) appointment today! YESSSS so atleast my dishwasher door will quit trying to crash thru the floor when opened unsupported. the washer bracket is STILL ITM-I believe I am calling today for a tracking # this is b.s. HOping they come in the morning so i can still be selfish & have my quiet afternoon :P

drug myself up 10 minutes earlier today YAY!!!!!! babysteps are working!!! had both sessions on my work out done b4 5:30 (when I unlock the door) YESSSSSSSS no fear of anyone walking in -interrupting my concentration. 4 in a row!!!! I had no idea it would be this easy to get back into it! but pleasantly surprised!

today should be a day of *washer fixing*homework typing(looking for the words to the African folktale of 'how the toucan got his colorful nose')*list making*plant watering*dishwashing by hand after the repair guy (b/c he will have to cut the pex line to pull the washer out far enough to work on it)*laundry*playing w/the kids!

ok-there we go-focus on the here & now :)

I used A TON of misc supplies on this baby! I was giddy that I still had the paper, apoxy stickers & label stickers that all were from K&Co in my stash!!
Other than K&Co goodies I used the CRICUT TO CUT ALL LETTERS! :) thanks again Tim

Prima flowers (the older ones I have a hard time using nowadays) & misc transparency words (I cut & ran thru the magic lil X), ribbon + fibers from forever ago!
