my 
recovery day :)
I think I came across a new favorite tradition!! spending 'black friday' recovering :)
Yesterday was a FAB-O day!!! up @6 to raise the rolls, up @7:30 to potty Gus, up @10 to bake the rolls, shower & get card making things around.
@ first glance I see the kids' table.. then looking deeper I realize I did a good job of getting a great group shot! YAY ME :)
the kids (term used loosely as they are all teens now *sigh*) played several games thru the day.. Uno Attack, Rumikub, along w/digging into the toy box meant for the preteens LOL magna doodles, coloring books/markers, slinky, etc.

after we ate Tim came home to nap & I stayed & made cards w/the girls. on his way to his mom's he picked me up & we went to visit while Supper finished up. some what of a group effort to get it ready. here's Aunt Sharon & Todd pouring the broth off for gravy making YUMMMM
awe & the newest family member even made an appearance.. Levi Michael.. oh so sweet & not yet a month old.
sad fact that my battery went dead while there so I have no photos of the GOOD TIMES we had @ Dale's after this dinner. :(
too much food, too much wine, meant I had nothing more important on my list today than recovery!! LOVED IT!! didn't leave the house until 5ish tonight to go to a gun show in Dm for Tim. on the way we stopped for supper @ the Roadhouse in Bevington YUMMMMM then decided to skip the gun show & just hit Home Depot for a few things. while there Tim decided he had finally lucked out & ended up w/the flu the kids have been passing around for 2 weeks :( so home we went, skipping my gathering of classmates @ the local winery I was so pumped about hanging out @ :( such is life right? so I came in, changed into some snugglies (swishy pants & tshirt), unpacked my card making supplies from yesterday, & put away the lake pics I've been scrapping for months. want to work on my december daily book but thinking I'll just skip it again this year :( since then I've had my tv on a CSI marathon that has now switched to criminal minds YAY as well as catching up on my blog list .. wow I am shocked @ & loving all of the entries on the holiday!!

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!
I am so happy to not be sick this year!!! :) last year I was home fighting a 102.5 temp all day/weekend. miserable! this year I am determined NOT to catch the nasty flu we've been passing around cc... jsut when I think we are done another one either throws up on their way here or losses it the other end :( poor things!! we are all in desperate need of some new germs LOL definately changing the furnase filter this weekend & thinking about shampooing the carpet. we will see how rambunctious I get .. I'd like to do nothing but sleep & read but we'll see how it goes!
anyway.. hope everyone has a peaceful, safe & warm Thanksgiving weekend!!!

Also looking fwd to the gathering some classmates are planning @ the winery for Friday night. Now to find out if they are bringing spouses so I know whether or not Tim will be bored out of his mind if he comes.

Monday....
we are off to a slow start YAY!! truely no better way to start this Monday!! I am SOOOOOOOO looking fwd to the long weekend ahead!!! :)
this past weekend we had a great time catching up w/fun people we don't take the time to see often enough!! Rechelle & Geary! fun & funny-hard to top that!! Mark & Jess!! sweet & funny! another great combo! those were just 2 sets of the great friends we enjoyed the company of Friday night @ the fundraiser for Brian (big Brian) & Mary Oehlert. then Saturday I spent in first aid/CPR class 8-4 bleck! but atleast its only every 2 yrs. then yesterday was a bit of mish mash between stocking MIL up on her firewood for the her company coming in today to a combo bday party & more hanging out w/friends. over all great weekend!! Just realized I left the camera in teh car w/the bday photos on it.... so I WILL have photos to share soon :) WHOHOOOOOOO

happy this sick week is over!!!
so happy that happy doesn't explain it, elated, spastic, giddy.... nope still not doing it justice LOL
lets just get it over-with already!
goodness list... hmmmmmmmmm great idea (plus it puts me in the drawing for some COOOO-OOO-OOOL ART!!! ROCK ON!!
- I am NOT a game-system-fan HOWEVER I have love love loved the idea of the Wii since it came out!! wanted one & decided that one day we would own one.. after all Tim is a game system fan, has been thru several PS2s so why would he bawlk @ a new toy?? SO we got our own Christmas gift early this year-a Wii!! whohooooooooo so we love the games it came w/(I beat him in a lot the first night SHOCKED US BOTH!!) & we have gotten a couple of other new games since. I just love that its so action packed! there is very little sitting & NO sitting to play!!! I am not a push a button to make a person jump kinda girl, nope I was playign the atari & PS w/the controller up in the air & myself leaning in the direction my little dude needed to go ANYWAY.. I am just thankful nintendo finally caught up w/those of us that played that way!! ;) SOOOOOOOOOOOO I am hoping for a Wii Fit soon!
- I'd also love to get some new lit. this would be great!!
- Tim always wants some Monte Carlo parts for the 72 in the garage. (his is like the purple one in the picture only a deeper color) :)
- all of the little people on our shopping list are getting miniature travel size versions of these this year!
- Mom wants one of these--I am so for getting it for her then she'll be excited again & can help me get started!!! :D (selfish I KNOW!!!)
- One brother & his family needs a new one of these so I think the other brother & I are getting it for them!
- our house could use some decorating!!! would love love love some of this or this or my photos made like this
- cannot wait to get our photos taken by BECKY next fall!!!
- one of my favorite gifts every year is a subscription to the local newspaper!!
- OH this reminds me I need to call & order the GC to the restarant for our camp attendants @ the lake!!

feels like Friday!

second, STILL STUFFY-hitting the medicine basket @8:30 -that'll be 3 hrs since last dose there has to be something in there that will break this crap up!!!
third, same 2 out still sick, other going to get flu shot, so should be a lighter day.. wishing nap-day light but not possible! ha. jsut lighter. I'll take it.
fourth, I cannot put into words how much I will miss yoga class!!! cannot wait for that email saying we are getting ready to start again in January!!!

FLU WEEK....someone forgot to inform me!
had one sent home from school on Monday, one sent home from here (from the same house) today @ breakfast, & one called in pukey.... PLEASE let this get over fast!!! the bleach bottle is officially OUT!!!
I am still stuffy but atleast its not miserable! & it aided a bit in the pukey clean up this morning LOL

Good Monday Morning..
its good because we had a great weekend. AND its not freezing out!! :D
gotta brag!! between the 2 of us this weekend we:
+got the dryer fixed (just needed vac'd out)
+got the tub drain replaced (whohooooooo)
+got the Child care nursery re-arranged a bit, new shelf in old shelf out, bag ready for donation
+got the snowblower all put back together!
+helped mom put some totes in storage
+napped a bit
+started cleaning upstairs kitchen then lost momentum
+cleaned up messes left from top 2
+got the laundry caught back up from dryer being down
+made it to the public library & checked out a Debbie Macomber book
+put the boat in storage
LOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!! even tho there was very little scrapping.. just some journaling copying done last night (during a kick a$$ Brothers & Sisters) for Day 6 in my WITL pages. only 5 & 7 to finish now YEHAW!! THEN I am hoping to create a December Daily album like Jo's & Ali's. I really want to be ready for Christmas!
Today I only have to clean the wood floor from the repair projects that were done over the weekend. Maybe making it the only have to thing on my list it will get done ;) i also want to bake but not sure what so we'll get the floor done then tackle some more mess making hahahaha.
thinking about Natalye today while she's gone getting tubes in :( we'll hope for the best! HA our last full week of the month :D that makes the monday alot more tolerable! ok.. off we go!!!

AHHHHHH FRIDAY :D
so happy to type that!! :D what a week! that full moon really did a doozy on us this time!
looking fwd to alot of nothing this weekend & a little bit of home repairs-tub drain replace, dryer clean out, getting the snow blower running(not my job LOL), ya know, the little stuff ;)
I joined Facebook yesterday. WOW what a new addiction LOL I am looking fwd to catching up w/old friends!! feel free to add me as your friend if I haven't already done so. its not nearly as scarey as myspace!
breakfast has been served & almost cleaned up, sent 4 off to school & the rest are between breakfast & chilling out watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for the next little bit then the TV goes off & we get started on our day! today we are planning to pick up the play room then they will get to vac while I sweep & mop the wood -I am serious about it today! I think I might clean off the counter & wipe it down too while I am going going going today.
okie dokie.. off & running!!
ETA: today was great & productive!! :) very smooth for a packed friday! tonight we have been UBER productive too! he tore into the dryer & cleaned it all up.. doing laundry now! YAY then when we got back from supper we tore into the tub drain! WHOHOOOOO no more drippy drippy!! rock on!!
ETA (AGAIN): SUPER excited to have gotten a ton done today too!! we picked up 300+ # of beef @ the locker first thing, out to lunch in Indianola, home to obviously put beef in freezer then I rearranged the cc nursery a bit & cleaned, while Tim got the snowblower ready! LOVE IT! (not exciting but responsible HAHAHAHAH)

SERIOUSLY??!!
I totally woke up this morning thinking it HAD to be Friday finally... bummer!! oh well. now that I am up & running its not so bad .. the GETTING up is the hardest for me LOL
YOGA last night kicked butt!!! loooooved it!!! going to miss it & already thinking of where I will make time to do my own routine (w/the help of the web) after next week!!!
today: NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!! lol

HUMP DAY!!
Yoga Day!! almost to the full moon!!! soooooooo ready for it to be past!! the past 2 days have felt like 2 EACH . physically & mentally draining. READY for that 4 day weekend @ the end of the month!!! EVEN we spend a whole day w/families. trying to decide if we can justify a 3 day/2 night motel stay AWAY too. or if we should stay home & be productive. *sigh* decisions decisions.

last night I threw my best ever in darts! AND splurged on a cocktail :) then came home, ate a donut LOL & scrapped! finished the sketch for TSOS & added details to my DAYS 1-4 in my WITL set. while watching the last 1/2 of The Mentalist & Law & Order:SVU. I will go up & get photos when the sun shines today & the crowd is at a dull roar. HA. wish me luck.

its officially cold out :)
I am on my second cup of tea this morning.. I have pumpkin baking in the oven to keep it running, we had grilled cheese sandwiches for breakfast w/honeycrisp apples, I am planning to bake when the pumpkin is done(roughly 2 hours as I have 2 pans worth of wedges), soon I am running up to get laundry to get started & sometime I hope to sweep & mop the wood floor today!busy busy busy work keeps the blood flowing!!!
good weekend past! lots of down time YAY!! loved it.. jsut wish I had made it to the library to get a new book to have the excuse to snuggle under the blanket & read! oh well.. maybe an evening this week!! I had a good turn out for my Taste of Home party, just needing a couple more orders to be able to get the hostess special (to give it as a Christmas gift :)).

an early day
man did I miss Yoga last night!! :( I sooo hope I get in the next session!! I need it :)
hoping for some productivity time today... the wood floors are in need of attention in a serious way LOL maybe run the vac too.. will see how cooperative everyone is. closing early for a chiro appt! hopefully I'll finally get my neck back in that's been out for atleast a week & half... atleast the headaches went away.
I have to finalize my party number today too. hmmmm maybe the 3rd cancelation in 2 months.. I think I have partied everyone out. oops!!
I scrapped a bit last night while watching Knight Rider, Private Practice & Dirty, Sexy Money. So bummed that htey don't put Criminal Minds online :(
ok enough rambling!

but no yoga today :( our instructor has a funeral visitation to attend tonight :(
darts last night was crazy-I felt so good to be out.. its only November & we've been outside daily & I already feel cabin fever creeping in.. not a good sign for winter to come!
so we have a new president-elect. I am not educated enough to know how to feel. I welcome change, am prepared to sit back & take what comes, besides only time will tell.
ok.. enough.. off & running!

as promised... more bits
DAY 2 .. my arms are too weak to write anything legible for DAY 3 tonight but I did get DAY 4's rough draft done!! so atleast i am not at a stand still!!!

OK so I started this project as everyone else was finishing LOL (even journaled just that in it!) but this is my DAY 1 of Ali's Week in the Life project
So picking the book was a snap!! why my BOM of course!! :) perfect!! just opened a new pkg of natural pages & jumped in .. finally LOL... I finished DAY 2 last night & will try to remember to take photos tonight while working on DAY 3! I am so excited that its coming together so easily now that I have it all printed & felt out a 'pattern' to follow for each DAY! whohooooooo next is her December Daily book!!! that is sooooooo gonna ROCK!!!
