productivity update

I took the kids (only 4 today) to the old house to get 2 boxes of pantry items + the breadmachine- we brought back folding chairs+kids chairs+2 other prepacked boxes+2 blankets but ummmmm not the 3 items we went after!!!!!1 BAHAHAHAHA

so the tree is down -as are all of the christmas decor, snowmen are still up mostly. I Just don't have it in my heart to tear it all down in one day.

tim has done a good job cleaning & vac'ing. I'll give him credit but he better not say "I've done the whole house" one more time today or I might just smack him.

When they wake up I am dragging the last two back to the old house for those 2 boxes (Tim just brought the breadmachine so it can be room temp b4 we need to start it) & whatever else I can grab today-tomorrow Tim & I are moving the fish tank YAY!!!!!!!!!! I AM FLIPPIN' GIDDY!!!!!! I will have alot of work to get it clean but YAY!!!!!! can't wait to get it set up!!

upon wake up I also need to drag the washer parts out of the way to get in the cubby to get the totes upstairs for the rest of the decorations to be packed away.

Then-when they are all gone- I will throw the mix in for the pizza crust in the breadmachine, flip thru a shower, decide on a top (jeans are all I wear now), mix up the dip, set it to simmer & fly thru whatever Tim hasn't 'already done' LOL

EXCITED!!!!!! WISH I HAD SOME PARTY FAVORS-oh!! Katie is bringing more goblets & the game 'apples to apples', our other cousin Terrie called, she's bringing the game 'are you smarter than a 5th grader?' & some food probably. SO FUN!!!!!!

weekend.. what weekend??

seems to be my theme for Thanksgiving -New Years :) but wow am I ready for a quiet one!!

this was hopefully the last busy one for a while!! minus the MAJOR SLEEP-IN session I got today, I feel like we ran all weekend LOL but now that I think about it was mostly just yesterday LOL funny how one day out of the house-I feel like we were hardly here.

as a wrap up, NOT in order, we spend GCs @ Scheel's on a dehydrator, hit 2 walmarts for misc goodies (goblets for NYE, jerky press, 2 cricut mats, craft buttons, champagne, 7up, rechargable batteries for the camera, etc), Joann's for a new cricut cartridge THANK YOU to whoever left a 40% coupon on the register & some 60% off smaller tree balls for us to decorate next year, Home depot for supplies to power up the garbage disposal in the basement & make the last payment on the washer that is still in need of repair LOL, On the Border for lunch, Sam's Club for monthly stock up, Fareway for groceries, HyVee for dip ingredients, returned Russel to MIL's home, watched The Kindom (GOOD), Mystery, Alaska (YUM), Vacancy (SCAREY), & 50 First Dates(CUTE & of course I cried), cleaned travel paths of upstairs & kitchen counters, Tim watched the Simpson's move (DUH) & I scrapped a page, make 4 lbs of beef jerky, & discovered we are having more company tomorrow night than expected. ....

You know the situation-a good friend calls to see what your plans are, invites ya out, you say thanks but we are having company-hey why don't you guys come here. TADA instantly the party number doubles LOL REALLY WISH I HAD GRABBED ANOTHER SET OF GOBBLETS @ walmart! I only got 4 (KIM TIM KATIE TOMMY) but now we are having another 4 guests-I want to provide a toast for everyone @ 12! (wouldn't every hostess on NYE??) SO HOLY SMOKES my to-do list just increased too!!! lol I now lose both of my scrapping tables -one for food & one for games, want to get the tree down & out of the way, along w/the totes the decor goes in out of the dining room, maybe rearrange the loveseat to make the living/dining room more open for gaming/dart throwing .... mix dip, Have Katie & tommy for SUPPER :) home made pizzas sounds like so much fun!! CAN'T WAIT!!! hopefully the whole night goes off w/o a hitch... will see! OMG!!!!! I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT SOMETHING TO WEAR -A BIT MORE DRESSY THAN THE SUPER CASUAL I WAS planning...... aaaaaaaaah!!

Christmas Eve we were lucky enough for Sarah to include us in their family traditions. We went up to their new home in Des Moines & had Supper. Then exchanged gifts w/the boys then made Santa's cookies & reindeer food-photo is Sarah & the boys putting the food out for the reindeer. then off to bed w/the boys & we all 3 played Santa-so fun!!! THANKS SARAH FOR INCLUDING US!!

Christmas Day was nice-slow & quiet. we bummed around in in our PJs after exchanging gifts, making & eating breakfast then lunch & going our separate ways to enjoy our toys-he got ps2 game & controller & I got THE CRICUT! then we got around in the afternoon & headed over to his mom's. here he is on the couch w/3 of his neices/nephews.

AND then out to Dale's we went to give him the gift from the boys & visit w/his family. that was fun too.

ok so I tried 3x yesterday to make a post w/photos & stories to match but it never got working right (or as I pictured it) so I trashed every one *sigh* atleast its friday & there's nothing much to say but WHEN DO THEY GO BACK TO SCHOOL ;) J/K love my kids! they are getting bored tho-time to go back & be challenged LOL

too late for a Christmas review & no NYE preview-everyone who reads this will already have heard about it straight from me anyway LOL

YAWN I suppose I'll hit the kitchen/dining floors since I got the mop from mom last night -long story not important!! but the floors are in desparate need of attention so off I go...
